What is a Satellite Account?Satellite Accounts are paid accounts which you set up and manage from within your own ProofHQ account. Your account becomes a "Hub" which is used to manage the Satellite Account(s) linked to it. There is no limit to the number of Satellite Accounts you can set up, so you could create a separate account for each of your clients if you wanted! You can add multiple users from an organisation to the Satellite Account and create a personalised, branded account for them to work in. ProofHQ lets you easily share proofs by email. This makes it simple to share proofs with people outside your organisation without having to set them up with a user name and password. However, there may be times when you do want to give those people a login, so that they have access to ProofHQ and can see all the proofs that you've shared with them in one place. You might also want to share proofs that have Login Required as a security setting, in which case they need to have a login.
We strongly advise you never to add external people as users in your ProofHQ account, as this could give them access to information that you do not want them to see. So, how do you set up logins for people in other organisations? We've created 2 easy ways to give your clients and contacts their own ProofHQ accounts:

How to set up a Satellite AccountSatellite Accounts are easy to set up! Any user in your account with Billing rights can create a Satellite Account, as follows:

 Linking existing separate accounts to your "Hub" accountIf you have previously created other separate accounts for your clients, these can now be converted to Satellite Accounts. Comparison between Satellite and Personal AccountsIn some circumstances, you may feel that a Personal Account would be sufficient for your needs. However, Personal Accounts are limited in many ways compared to Satellite Accounts and so the various differences between the two types of account should be considered to help you make this decision.
