Introduction to Personal SettingsThe Personal settings section is where you manage your personal settings. To get to your Personal settings:
Your Personal Settings section has the following tabs: In any of these tabs (except Tags), you can change your password by clicking on the Change Password button at the top right. SettingsThe Settings tab has the following sections:
Personal detailsThe Personal details section includes the following: NameThis is the name that will be displayed in the system and attributed to your comments and replies. Primary EmailThis is the primary email address used by the system.
If you need to change your primary email address, see Change your primary email. See also User Email Aliases.
To change your primary email address:
NB: The new email address will now become your login email address when you log in to ProofHQ going forward and all email notifications will be sent to this email address. Permissions ProfileThis is the profile set by your Account administrator. It determines the permission level you have within your account. See Profile and Permissions. PositionYou can enter a Position here. This is useful for large Organisations. LanguageYou can select a language here. Currently ProofHQ is available in English, German, Spanish and Japanese. (If you are interested in helping us translate ProofHQ into other languages, please contact us at support@proofhq.com.) TimezoneYou can select a Timezone here. This will affect notifications such as Deadlines for proofs. Date FormatYou can select a date and time format here. NB: This will apply to most areas of the application, but will not apply when entering a Deadline for new proofs (proof deadlines are always in a 24-hour format). AddressThis is your personal address.
Telephone NumbersThese are your personal phone numbers.
Usage StatisticsThis section shows the following personal usage statistics for the current billing period:
To see the Usage statistics for your whole account, go to the Billings section of your account. OpenID IntegrationYou can decide to login to ProofHQ using OpenID. You can save your OpenID settings in this section. Account DetailsThis section shows the following details:
These will be inherited from the details saved in Account Settings (set by the Account administrator). User Email AliasesSet email aliasesYou can set email aliases for your profile, meaning that proofs sent to those email addresses will appear in your Dashboard. To do this:

Profile Changes LogThis section shows you a list of the changes that you have made to your profile, e.g. Password has been changed or Email has been added/deleted. Click the See complete list link to get taken to the Profiles log in the Activity page in your account. Proofing defaultsIn this section you can view and edit the following:
Default Email Notification SettingsIn this section you can:
Messages SettingsHere you can save a template Subject and Message which will appear in the new proof email that is sent to everybody added to a proof. NB: You can also edit the Subject and Message in the new proof page when creating the proof. Default Proof SettingsIn this section you can save your preferred proof defaults. These settings will show in the new proof page when you create a new proof. The proof defaults are:
IntegrationsThis section shows you the options you have for setting up pre-built integration links with third-party applications.
