Here is a summary of the types of users in ProofHQ.

Profiles available in a standard ProofHQ setup are:

• Creator, the person who originally set up the account
• Billing Administrator or Billing Admin
• Administrator or Admin or Company Admin
• Supervisor
• Manager
• Observer
• Guest
  

We use the term "Users" to describe all of the profiles except the Guest profile. Each of the "User" profiles counts towards your user limit. You can see the permissions linked to each profile below.

* Creator, Billing Admin and Admin can delete users. This can only be done in Account Settings - go to the Users tab and select the tick box of the relevant user(s), then click Delete at the top of the page.

Creator

The Creator is the first person to sign up an Account. The Creator is by default a Billing Administrator, although this Profile can be edited if required.

Can delete a user - see * above.

Billing Administrator (AKA "Billing Admin")

NB: Billing Administrators will have access to Account Settings and Billing.

Administrator (AKA "Company Admin")

Can create proofs and upload files.

Can view, edit and delete own proofs and files.

Can view, edit and delete proofs and files created by all users in the organisation.

Can access the Account page and edit the organisation details.

Can delete a user - see * above.

NB: Administrators will have access to Account Settings.

Supervisor

Can create proofs and upload files.

Can view, edit and delete own proofs and files.

Can view, edit and delete proofs and files created by all users in the organisation.

Manager

Can create proofs and upload files.

Can view, edit and delete own* proofs and files.

* "Own" proofs and files include:

• Items the user created
• Items the user owns
• Items that have been explicitly shared with the user: shared proofs, shared files, or shared folders

Observer

Can view own proofs and files.

NB: The menus/functions available to Observers are limited. Please note the following:

The Guest user profile is used to give access to proofs for reviewers who have not signed up to ProofHQ.
