iPhone App

Introduction to the iPhone app

ProofHQ is now available on the go! Continue being productive wherever you are with the following features on the iPhone app:
  • View, review and approve both static and audio-visual proofs
  • View, add and reply to comments
NB: Proofs can only be accessed on your iPhone via the link in your email notification (using your iPhone mail app). Currently only the Proof Viewer is available, you cannot access your dashboard via the iPhone app.

NB: Please note that only Personal URLs are supported with the iPhone App at this time. Team URLs are not supported.

Here's the main view of a static proof:
  1. Proof image
  2. Proof name
  3. Comments button
  4. Decisions button
  5. Show comments (this button will be greyed out if no comments have been made)

Here's the main view for an audio visual proof:
  1. Proof image
  2. Proof name
  3. Comments button
  4. Decisions button
  5. Show comments (this button will be greyed out if no comments have been made)
  6. Play button
  7. Timeline
  8. Volume

Opening a proof on your iPhone

First, download the ProofHQ iPhone app from Apple's App Store.

To open a proof on your iPhone, simply click the "Go to Proof" button in your email notification, your device will be detected and you'll be taken straight to the proof.

If you have a ProofHQ user account, you can log into the App to access lists of Recent Proofs, My Proofs and All Proofs.


Comments and replies
You can add a comment easily by clicking the orange comments button at the top right of the main screen. Once you're on the comments view you can:
  1. Add a mark-up using the tools at the bottom right (rectangle, arrow, line, grab proof)
  2. Add a comment by clicking the orange comments button at the bottom left
  3. Save your comment by clicking the Save button at the top right
  4. Cancel your comment by clicking the Cancel button at the top left

You can reply to a comment easily by clicking the Show comments button at the bottom of the main screen. Once you're on the reply screen you can:
  1. Reply to the comment
  2. View the next comment
  3. View the previous comment
  4. Return to the proof

Decisions

You can make a decision easily by clicking the green decision button at the top left of the main screen. Once you're on the decision screen you can pick from the normal options to submit your decision.

Device requirements

The app requires iOS 4.0 or later and is compatible with the following mobile devices:
  • iPhone 3, iPhone 4
  • iPod touch (4th generation)
