IntroductionNot only can you edit, re-order and hide the decision buttons, but you can also request that your reviewers log a reason when they make a particular decision. As an example, you can use this functionality to have a decision called "Send to Print", which would then trigger the Print department to upload a new version for Print approval. For a decision such as "Not Approved" you could include Reasons why it was not approved such as "Product Details" or "Spelling". Decisions and reasons will be included in excel exports of proof information. NB: Available only on Enterprise plans
Decision settings
To edit a decision name:
- Hover over the decision name and you will see an
edit box appear
- Click in the edit box and edit the name of the
decision
- When you click away from the edit box, your
decision will be saved and a pop up message confirming this will appear
To hide/show the decision:
- Click the “Hide” link at the right hand side of
the decision line
- To show the decision, click the “Show” link at
the right of the decision line
To re-order the decision buttons:
- Click and drag the crossed arrows icon to the
left of the decision name
- Drag it to whichever position you like
To display reasons when a particular decision is chosen on
the Proof:
- Select the “Display reasons” tickbox for that
decision
Reason settings
You can now choose to show a decision reasons pop up message
in the Proof Viewer when a decision is made on the proof. You can set the proof
to show the reasons pop up when any decision is made or just when a particular
decision is made, e.g. you may want reviewers to only give you a reason if their decision is “changes required”
In Account Settings, Decisions tab, you can do the
following:
- Choose a title for the reasons pop up
- Set who can see decision reasons
- Allow multiple reasons to be selected
- Require at least one selection to be made
- Create, order and edit your list of reasons
- Select a text box to be included for
all/particular decision reasons (to allow people to write further explanation for their decision)
